Clarence Leroy Cooper, age 91 passed away on 3/30/26 with his family present.
He was born in Pulaski township in Michigan on 6/22/34 the son of Emery and Eva Cooper (Brail).
He graduated from Concord High School, and retired from Clark Equipment after 30 years of service.
Clarence was a loving husband to Lois (Coxon) for 57 years, and together, they attended Spring Arbor Church of the Nazarene.
He enjoyed being outside, reading, cooking, listening to music and the study of the Bible. Clarence was an animal lover and enjoyed being involved in his children’s numerous 4-H animal projects. He found comfort in the company of his beloved dog Mickey.
Clarence and Lois have 4 children, Jeffrey Lust of Morrisville, AZ, Randy Cooper of Concord MI, Becky Gorzen (Mike Gorzen) of Livonia, MI – Joseph Cooper (Susan Cooper) of Nantucket MA.
Clarence had 12 grandchildren; Jennifer, Joshua, Jonanthan, Ryan and Kevin, Anton, Ariel, and Yaqirah, Samuel, Leah, Naomi, and James.
Visitation will be held at Spring Arbor Church of the Nazarene - 8200 King Rd, Spring Arbor MI 49283 on April 8th at 10:00am with funeral service following at 11:00am. Interment immediately following the funeral service at Spring Arbor Cemetery.
There will be a meal provided after the service for those who would like to join.
