Of Spring Arbor, MI went home to be with her Lord on Friday, October 2, 2020 at the age of 66. She was the daughter of Richard and Dimple Miller, born October 27, 1953 in Denver, Colorado. Cheryl is survived by her husband of 47 years, Patrick Zombo; two children, Ryan (Kelly) Zombo and Melissa (Adam) Bice; five grandchildren, Noah, Evan, Addison, Nolan, and Bodhi; sister, Kim (Mark) Mangan of Minnesota; and her mother, Dimple Miller. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Miller. Cheryl was a 1972 graduate of Melvindale High School. She worked as a Pathology Transcriptionist for Foote Hospital for over 33 years. Cheryl loved arts and crafts, and was an avid seamstress and quilter. She was proud to be the former President of the Pieces and Patches Quilt Guild. She enjoyed traveling, taking the RV to Florida in the winter, and cruises, especially the Disney Cruise in 2017 which was highlighted with family and friends. Cheryl also enjoyed cooking and was known for making the best gravy. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of gifts or flowers, a donation in her name to the Jackson Interfaith Shelter or local food bank would be appreciated.
