Cherie passed away February 28, 2024 after a brief illness. She was born March 29,1955 in Jackson, Michigan, but lived most of her life in Parma. Cherie loved to travel, entertaining / she loved a good party and she was a great cook and baker too.  She attended Western High School.  She retired from Lomar Machine in Horton, MI after 35 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband Steve Milligan, parents Duane and Harriett Wellman and brother Scott Wellman. Survived by siblings; Marian Wellman Horton, Katrina Knoll, Rosie (Greg) Goodwin, Duane (Maria) Wellman, Jane (Jim) Breton, Chris (Sam-Leann) Wellman, and Joe Wellman, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Also beloved friends Liz, Abby, and John Kuntzleman.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 8,2024, at Watson Funeral Chapel, 10661 W. Michigan, Parma, MI 49269.  Family will receive friends from 1- 2 P.M.
