Carolynn "Carol" Louise White (Millican)

Carolynn (Carol) White passed away March 17, 2024.

Carol was born April 30, 1937 in Jackson, Michigan to Norman and Mary Jane (Wilcox) Millican. She had three siblings: John, Kathryn (Kay) and Rohn.

Carol graduated from Jackson High School in 1955. She had several lifelong friends from grade school, who called her "Milli".  Carol married George White in 1956 and they had three children: William (Bill), Steven (Steve), and Wendy.

Carol and George enjoyed camping with family and friends in their fifth-wheel camper for many years. Carol loved listening to gospel and country music and riding her four-wheeler in northern Michigan. She also enjoyed many road trips with her sister Kay and family. 

Carol and George were married for nearly 49 years when George passed away in 2005.  Carol was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, her son Bill, and great-grandson Tavier.

Carol is survived by her son Steve (Wanda), daughter Wendy, grandchildren Meranda, Cody, and Levi; five great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, who were all very special to her.

Carol was a very kind and caring person and was well known for her wonderful sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by many.

A special thank you to Carol's daughter Wendy who was her caregiver for many years, and to all of the Henry Ford Hospice team for the excellent care they provided during a very difficult time.

According to Carol's wishes cremation has taken place.
