Carol Batterson

Carol Batterson of Jackson.  Our loving wife, mother, and grandma passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2022 at the age of 73 to go home to be with the Lord. 

She is survived by husband, Marvin Batterson; daughters, Betsy (Jeff) Batterson Weidner and Donna Batterson Lynch; grandchildren, Kevin Wilson, Brittany Batterson, Tony Boss, Brandy Lynch, David Ostandor, Hunter Weidner; and many great-grandchildren; brothers, Gene (June) Standley, Richard (Jane) Standley, and Henrey Antone; sister, Mary Morton; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.   She was preceded in death by daughter, Tina M. Batterson; son-in-law, Damon J. Lynch; father, Gust Antone; mother, Olive Rown (McGee); sisters, Mary Jane Heart.

She was a stay home mother then worked as a housekeeper/caregiver for many years.  She loved camping, gardening, bowling, and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.

The Celebration of Carol’s Life will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 13, 2022 in the Watson Funeral Chapel, 2590 Spring Arbor, Jackson, MI with Pastor Ray Torres officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10-11 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral chapel. Private interment will be in South Jackson Cemetery.
