Vincent, Burt John – Aged 76
There just isn’t enough ink……
Passed away Sunday, August 25th. Surprisingly, there were no other casualties . He was preceded in death by his parents, Theo and Mildred (Collins) Vincent, his son Scott, and his 1977 Ford pickup truck.
Burt was a Veteran of two marriages and the U.S. Air Force. With a zest for life, he went on major hunting trips without guides, piloted aircraft without a license, held the title of engineer at Clark Equipment Company without a college education, ran a successful small business for over 25 years without a salesman and defended himself in Colorado courtrooms without a lawyer.
Despite his lack of credentials, he went for it and counted on his many friends. Among his closest friends toward the end were Bob King, Jim Videto, Jack and Sue Derr, Fred Loud, Ben Heustis, Al Woncha, John and Colleen Earl, Dale Shelar, and his two brothers Otis and Gary.
Burt is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and one son.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Shop on September 7, 2024 beginning at 2:00 P.M.
