Brooke Robert Reed

Brooke Robert Reed, Age 60, of Horton, Michigan passed away on March 23, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on January 8, 1966 in Jackson, Michigan to John R. Reed and Sue Ann (Spicer) Reed.

Brooke was a graduate of Hanover-Horton High School and Michigan State University.  After College, Brooke worked for Sandy’s Landscape Supply for almost 20 years. 

Brooke married his wife, Tracy A. (Wheeler) Reed on September 24, 2005, and together, they had a daughter, Morgan M. Reed. 

He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed tractor pulling with his John Deere 720; taking the family dog, Knox, for walks and spending time with his family and friends.

Brooke is survived by his wife, Tracy; daughter, Morgan; his parents, John and Sue Ann Reed; mother-in-law, Susan Wheeler; sister and brother-in-law, Stacy (Terry) Finegan; brother and sister-in-law, Brent (Theresa) Reed; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jason (Deb) Wheeler; nieces and nephews, Ty Finegan, Sadie (Austin) Andersen, Trent Finegan, Samantha Reed, Jeremy Reed, Brandon Reed, and Mason Wheeler.

He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, John Wheeler; grandparents, Robert and Dorothy Spicer; Leslie Reed and Howard and Blanche Hall.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 10:00am until the time of service at Watson Funeral Chapel – 2590 Spring Arbor Road, Jackson, Michigan.  The Celebration of his life will begin at 11:00am with Michael D. Mason, Officiating.  Inurnment at Pulaski Cemetery following his service.
