Brian Wallis Felde of Jackson, Michigan passed away April 9, 2023, at the age of 78. He was born to Wallis and Myrtle Felde on March 4, 1945, in Jackson, Michigan. He is survived by his wife Michelle (Herzberg).
Brian married Bonnie (Kelley) on September 30, 1967. They had two children, Kelley (Tony) Yeo, and Jason (Stephenie) Felde; three grandchildren, Ashlyn Yeo, Declan Felde, and Brooks Yeo all of Jackson; sister, Luana of Jackson; brother, Phillip of Clear Lake, Indiana; and special brother-in-law, Robert Kreger. Brian, married Michelle on November 17, 2018. He welcomed her children, McKenzie Hall of Muskegon Michigan, and Sydney Hall of Canton as his daughters. Brian was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; brother, Rick; his parents, Wallis and Myrtle; an infant daughter, Carol; and grandson, Frank Anthony Yeo.
Brian attended Jackson Public Schools left before graduating and joined the United States Marine Corp from November 4, 1964 – November 3, 1968, where he was in the Vietnam War. He was an immensely proud Marine. He always showed his pride by flying the USMC flag, or taking to any fellow Marine. After the service, Brian worked for General Products for 32 years, and Taylor Postal, driving a truck to pick up the mail bags from the Jackson, and surrounding areas to be taken to Detroit.
Brian was a member of the Moose Lodge where he cooked fish on Friday nights. He was an avid bowler, golfer, and loved to ride his Harley Davidson Trike. He looked forward to going to Traverse City every year with his brother Phil. His passion was being with family, grandchildren, watching them grow up and attend many of their activities. He just loved to be around friends and family.
Brian has chosen to be cremated. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. with the Celebration of Brian’s Life at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2023 at Gene Davis & Sons Banquet and Convention Center, 3575 Francis St. Jackson, MI with a luncheon following. In lieu of flowers, Brian would like you to donate to Lyle Torrant, American Heart Association or Disabled Veterans.
