Beverly Ilene Finnegan

Beverly (Bevier) Finnegan of Jackson, MI passed away after a brief illness at Beaumont-Wayne Hospital on October 19, 2021. She was the daughter of James and Jennie (Strait) Folks, born on May 19, 1935 in Horton, MI. She is survived by her children, Diana (Al) Lawrence, Mike Richards, William (Cheryl) Richards, Scott (Jill) Bevier; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Perry Richards, Arthur Bevier, Patrick Finnegan; great-grandchild, Landon; and siblings Esther, Lloyd, Richard, Philip. Beverly graduated from Concord High School in 1953 and went on to start a licensed home day care, where she was known as “Aunt Bev” and “Grandma B”. She enjoyed reading, movies, the Hallmark channel during Christmas time, and vacationing at Panama City Beach. According to her request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her Life will be held at Watson Funeral Chapel, 2590 Spring Arbor Rd, Jackson, MI on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10:00am, with Pastor Bill Moull officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 32121 Woodward Ave Suite 350, Royal Oak, MI 48073, and Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice, 1730 S Reynolds Rd, Toledo, OH 43614. The family will receive friends from 9:00am until the time of service.
