Beverly Jean “Sally” Copeland, age 86 of Paris, died Monday, October 15, 2018, at her residence. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and a former member of the Good Sam Camping Club. Sally formerly worked in Jackson, Michigan area hospitals as an aide to doctors preparing for surgery. Sally was married to Paul David Copeland May 15, 1999, who survives of Paris, TN. Born April 7, 1932, in Battle Creek, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Agnes and Donald Johnson. Along with her husband, she is survived by two sons, Chuck (Robyn) Parsons and Kevin Parsons both of Jackson, MI; two step daughters, Sue (Terry) Ward of Paris, and Carol (Charles) Hawkins of McKenzie, TN; two step sons, Mark (Pam) Copeland and David (Tammy) Copeland both of Paris; a sister, Janice Marcoux of Tallahassee, FL; and several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Hughes and Joanne Robinson; and a brother, Donald Johnson, Jr. Local arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN, where visitation will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2018, from 4-6 pm with a prayer service at 6:00 pm. A funeral service will be conducted at Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Monday, October 22 at 1 pm. with Reverend Leland Shinaberry officiating. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery in Girard Township, Michigan. There will be visitation beginning at 11 am until the time of service.
