Betty S. Proschek, 94-years-old of Jackson, MI, was born on May 2, 1926. Betty went to Jesus on July 29, 2020 closely surrounded by her beloved husband of 73 years, Eugene Proschek and children. Betty loved her family and lived for them. Betty's family was her greatest joy! They included 4 children: Eric (Carol) Proschek, Judith (the late Eric) Lambart, Janice (Phillip) Wohlgemuth, Tom (Monica) Proschek; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Betty was a dynamic leader that always got the job done. Early on she trail-blazed attending the University of Toledo when few women did while simultaneously being the National President of the Future Homemakers of America. Betty even sewed her own wedding dress in less than a week! Her passionate careers included first being a Trinity Lutheran School Kindergarten Teacher followed by being a successful Jackson area realtor. Betty was vastly revered and respected by all whose lives she touched. And many years later, there were few things that made Betty smile wider than her former kindergartners giving her a big hug now as adults. Betty wore her giant heart on her sleeve!
