Barbara J. (Allen) Stadel

Age 91, entered into the presence of the Lord on August 3, 2026 at the Henry Ford Hospice Home.

Barbara was the daughter of Howard and Alpha Allen who preceded her in death, along with her husband of 61 years, Robert D. Stadel; daughter, Kathleen E. Bigelow; and son, R. Mark Stadel.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Karen (John) Frederick; son-in-law, Bruce Bigelow; daughter-in-law, Nanci Stadel; grandchildren, Benjamin (Stephanie) Frederick, Aaron (Jackie) Frederick, and Jesse Frederick, Ryan (Meggan) Farrell, Amy Svinicki, Dan Bigelow, Matt (Laura) Bigelow, Tyler Stadel, and Adam (Jessica) Stadel; along with many great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne (Carol) Allen; sister, Paula (Frederick) Boley; numerous nieces and nephews.

Among her many occupations, Barbara loved being a nurse the best.  She also praised the Lord for the love that she had for people.  Barb has been blessed beyond measure by the people of Jackson Free Methodist Church.

Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Jackson Free Methodist Church, 2829 Park Dr., Jackson, MI 49203 with Pastor Jason Engle officiating.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11a.m. Thursday at church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor can be made to Jackson Free Methodist Church in memory of Barbara.
