Anna Lee Baxter

Baxter, Anna Lee Baxter of Jackson, Mi.  Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was called home to her Lord on March 11, 2023.  Born May 16, 1932 in Tazewell, TN the daughter of Edger & Sadie Owens.  Anna loved her family and always enjoyed family gatherings.  She liked visiting yard sales and thrift shops.  She was a devoted Christian church member. She had been a member of Faith Baptist Church in Chelsea.

Surviving are her husband of 69 years, Marvin R. Baxter; 4 children, Diana Beck, Debby (John) Gorz, Cindy (Jay Green) Miller, and David (Donna) Baxter; 12 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren; sister, Marie Drummond; and many nieces, nephew, and friends.  Anna was preceded in death by her son, Rob Baxter; son-in-law, Paul Beck; parents; 2 sisters, Mary Cohen and Carol Bryant.

Celebration of Anna’s life will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 20, 2023, at the Watson Funeral Chapel, 2590 Spring Arbor, Jackson with Michael Mason officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. Monday until service time.  Interment Roseland Memorial Gardens.  Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Anna.
