Anita Louise Trujillo

Anita Louise Trujillo, age 70 of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on Sunday December 22, 2024 at her home.

She was born January 5, 1954 in Jackson, Michigan, daughter of the late Marie (Davis) Trujillo and Steve Trujillo. She was a proud graduate of Jackson High School in 1972. She enjoyed being a part of the planning committee for their 50th  high school reunion in 2022. She also graduated from Baker College in 1994 with her Associate Degree.

Anita was known for her humor, her laugh, and her giving spirit. One of her favorite pastimes was feeding the squirrels in her backyard. Anita loved wildlife. She also loved going to the casino. Most of all, her favorite part of life was being a mother  to her daughter, Stephany.

Anita enjoyed working at banks in Jackson, MI, Queens, NY, and Dallas, TX. She also worked for several years with Blackman Charter Township. Throughout her life and leading to her passing, she worked with Your Home Town USA, Inc. She absolutely loved driving throughout Michigan for YHT.

She is survived by her only child, Stephany (Nicholas) Trujillo, niece Jennifer Richards, and numerous cousins and special family friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Marie and Steve Trujillo, brothers Steve and George Trujillo, and cousins Ralph Trujillo and Juanita (Ray) Mendez.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Howell Nature Center to help with rehabilitating injured wildlife is sincerely appreciated.

Visiting hours are Saturday January 4, 2025 with public viewing from 11:00am until the celebration of life service at 1:00pm in the Watson Funeral Chapel, 2590 Spring Arbor Rd, Jackson, Michigan 49203. Laura Cooper will officiate. Cremation will take place after conclusion of her celebration of life.
