William Arthur Wyngaert

93, of Jackson, MI, went home to be with his Lord and wife on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Summit Park Assisted Living. William was the son of Frederick and Bertha Anne (Hollingsworth) Wyngaert, born October 27, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio. William was preceded in death by his wife, Rena who he married 73 years ago on January 4, 1946; and his son, Frederick Wyngaert. He is survived by two sons, Thomas (Diane) Wyngaert and Gordon (Julie) Wyngaert; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. He retired from Spartan Electronics an engineer after many years of service. William served his country proudly in the United States Army during WWII. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and spending time with his family. William was a member of the First Congregational Church in Jackson. A celebration of his life will be held at Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson, Monday, January 7, at 1:00pm; Reverend Kerry Taylor-Snyder officiating. Inurnment at Hillcrest Memorial Park at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of William may be made to the First Congregational Church 120 N. Jackson Street, Jackson, MI 49201.

The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Chapel on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and on Monday from 12:00pm until the time of service at 1:00pm
