83, of Jackson, Michigan, peacefully went home to her Lord on Thursday, March 27, 2019. Vida was born to Ray and Etta Vian on August 3, 1935 in Jackson, MI. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Clair Myers, son Mark (Becky) Good, daughter Molly VanLuven, and son Tim Stull. Vida was the proud grandmother of many grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed watching them learn and grow. She is also survived by sister, Kathleen (Bailey) Jones of Norfolk, VA and numerous nieces and nephews who considered her a favorite. Vida was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Good, brothers Calvin Vian, Ora Vian, Alfred Vian, and Victor Eugene Vian; sisters Dorothy Herrick, Alice Baker, Juanita Stover and Marvel Marts; and son, Bob Stull. After leaving school early to begin her family, Vida earned her GED from Western High school as an adult with the love and support of her family who knew how important it was to her. It was a proud achievement in her life. Throughout her 83 years, Vida held many jobs, working to help support her family at Spartan Electronics, Spring Arbor College and Highlands care home. Vi loved to serve the Lord by serving others and gave freely of her time and resources. She enjoyed spending time with her family as well as painting, sewing and gardening. Vi was an active member of Trinity Wesleyan Church and recently enjoyed attending Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church with her son Mark, his family and fellow Arbor North residents. Vida will be celebrated and remembered by family and friends on Monday, April 1, 2019. Visitation will be held at Watson Funeral home from 10:00am - 11:00am with the service, officiated by Pastor Mark VanValin, following at 11:00am. Vida will be interred at Roseland Memorial Gardens in Vandercook Lake, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
