Sally L. Dempsey

Of Jackson, MI went to be with her Lord on Friday, November 15, 2019 at the age of 87.She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bernell Dempsey; parents, Loren and Helen Fletcher, brother, Jim Fletcher; and nephew, Larry Fletcher. She is survived by her aunt, Jane Lent; four nephews, Dale Fletcher, Robert Fletcher, Gary Fletcher, and Steven Fletcher; niece, Sue Rinehart; cousins, Betty (Douglas) Marsh, Gary (Evelynn) Sparks, Jeff (Andrea) Sparks, and Nicholas (Jennifer) Sparks; and great-nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of her life will be held at the Vandercook Baptist Church, 703 E. McDevitt, Jackson, MI 49203 on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 11:00am with Pastor Kyle Vegter officiating. Interment will follow at Roseland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vandercook Baptist Church or charity of choice. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am.
