Of Jackson, MI passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the age of 76. He was the son of Walter and Edith Rose, born October 5, 1942 in Newark, Ohio. Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Georgann “Skip”; two sons, Ronald (Holly) Lee Rose II, and Matthew (Sarah) Rose; six grandchildren, Brock (Leslie) Marvin, Patrick (Nicole) Rose, Hannah Rose, Sydney Rose, Cannon Rose, and Mason Rose; one great-grandchild, Beatrice Marvin; brother, William (Cheryl) Rose; sister, Beth Ann Arthur; specials friends, Jim and Judy Wilson; and numerous friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Noreta Kaiser. Ronald served his country proudly in the United States Marines. Following his service he became a Certified Master Baker R.B.A. where he worked in the baking industry, most recently at Quality Dairy in Lansing until the day of his retirement. During retirement he enjoyed refurbishing houses as a second career. Ronald loved spending time with his grandchildren and traveling, especially to the beaches of Mexico. According to his wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no services held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association and ALS of Michigan.
