Robert W. Nims

Of Mt. Pleasant, MI passed away in Jackson surrounded by his family on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the age of 68. Robert was the son of Wellington and Doris Nims, born March 4, 1950 in Jackson, MI. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Jennifer (King) Nims; two sons, Jonathan (Danna), and David; three grandchildren, Evan Mills, Abigail Nims, and Patrick Nims; brother, Curtis Nims; and sisters, Adele Nims and Libby Lowder; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Robert was preceded in death by his son, Robert Wellington Nims, and his parents. He was a graduate of Central Michigan University where he received a MBA degree. Robert worked as a Certified Public Accountant. Bob loved life, following his own rules, and spending time with his family. “The best time of my life was with my wife and my boys cruising the Great Lakes." A graveside service will take place at Nims Cemetery on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 12:00pm.
