Ralph Edward Messner

Ralph Edward Messner, Sr, born December 24, 1932, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020, at the age of 87.

He is preceded by his wife of 47 years, Glady Jean.  He is survived by a brother, Larry Messner, son Ralph (Karen) Messner, Jr. daughters Joan Messner, Diana Wagner, Hillary (Andrew) Jacobs and son Robert (Stacie) Messner, his grandchildren Joel Messner, Joshua Messner, Zachary Smith, Jacob Wagner,  Nicholas Wagner, Nicole Jacobs, Rebecca Jacobs, Robbie Messner, and Emily Messner,and great-grandchildren Kody Messner and Logan Messner.

He was a father, soloist, choral director, and music educator in the Jackson area. He served in the Army at the end of the Korean War.

A memorial service will be held at Watson Funeral Chapel at 2590 Spring Arbor Rd, Jackson, MI 49203 on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 2:00 PM.
