Priscilla Emily Smith

96 of Jackson, MI passed away peacefully at home under the loving care of her family on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. Priscilla was the daughter of Cliff & Pearl Latham, born January 22, 1922 in Jackson, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Edward Smith Sr., both parents and three brothers, Cliff, David & Bill Latham. Priscilla is survived by three children, Edward (Sandy) Smith II, Carole (Carl) Hibnar, and Kathleen Sampson; two grandchildren, Corrie Farler & Ed (Leah) Smith III; five great-grandchildren, Olyvia, Hanna Farler, Grady, Andi & Riley Smith. Priscilla was a member of the Ganson Street Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed spending her time doing crafts, bird watching & mission work. She had a wonderful sense of humor, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother & friend to many who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:30 AM, Pastor Don Deaver officiating, interment Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for those who wish may be made to the Youth Haven Ranch, 3796 Perrine Road, Rives Junction, Michigan 49277 or Great Lakes Hospice, 900 Cooper Street, Jackson, Michigan 49202. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at the funeral home.    The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 PM and Saturday from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 10:30 AM.
