83, of Hanover, MI went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at her home under the loving care of her family and Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Care. She was the daughter of Colonel Eugene and Estelle (Ames) Moodispaw, born January 24, 1936 in Norfolk, VA. Beth is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Melvin Turner; three children, Carol (Stephen) Ivkovich, Greg (Dana) Turner, and Wesley (Barbara) Turner; six grandchildren, Keith (Elizabeth A.) Ivkovich, Elizabeth G.(Calvin Smothers) Ivkovich, Hannah (Paco Ruiz) Ivkovich, Lydia (Jacob) Gardner, Wesley D. Turner, and Alissa Turner; five great-grandchildren, Juliet Ivkovich, Stephen Ivkovich, Avila Smothers, Oscar Smothers, and Adeline Gardner. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jean Boyd, Carolyn Moodispaw, Leonard Moodispaw, John Santy, and Frances Moodispaw. Beth was a graduate of Washington -Lee High School in Arlington, VA, and the Washington School for Secretaries in Washington D.C. Beth worked as a secretary to the Exports Manager to National Plastics Plant, then as a legal secretary, and most recently as a secretary for Security Affairs Support Association. She was a member of the Nichols Bethel United Methodist Church in Odenton, MD, and faithfully attended Hillside United Methodist Church in Horton, MI. According to her family’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Beth’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Beth may be made to the Patient Tower including Neuro I.C.U. at Henry Ford Allegiance Health, 205 N. East Avenue, Jackson, MI 49201 or to the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice, One Jackson Square, 4th Floor, Jackson, MI 49201.
