Patricia Ann Blain

Patricia Ann Blain of Prudenville, MI, formerly of Rives Junction, MI passed away at home surrounded by family on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the age of 73. She was the daughter of Sylvester Lowell (Elfrieda) and Josephine (Potter) Pletcher, born November 23, 1945 in Lansing, MI. Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Dale Blain; three daughters, Carolyn (Mike) Haga, Sandra Simmons, and Wendy Simmons; five grandchildren, Molly, Lizzie, Kylie, Ryker (Hailey), and Skylar; one great-grandson, Colton; her brother, Douglas (Carol) Salisbury; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Roland Pletcher. Patricia was a graduate of Terry Parker High School in Jacksonville, FL. She retired as a mortgage supervisor from CP Federal Credit Union after 32 years of service. Following her retirement she moved to the family cabin in Prudenville, MI where she loved to spend time with her family. Patricia loved animals especially, her cats, dogs, and horses. The family would like to give a special thank you to Jamie Eaker and Frank Jean for their loving care of Patricia.  A celebration of her life will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 11:00am. Interment at Jones Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of one’s choice.  The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm and on Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of service.
