Maurice Noppe Obituary

Maurice Victor Noppe, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 4, 2019 at his home surrounded by family. Morris was born in Jackson, Michigan on November 10, 1937 to parents Gus and Flora Noppe. He was an Engineer by trade and passionate about carpentry.

He is survived and will be missed dearly by his wife, Charlene, of 63 years of marriage; daughter, Sherrie (John) O’Quinn; son, Mike (Paula) Noppe; and daughter Ly’ena Noppe; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Bishop and Louise Gray; and numerous nieces and nephews.

After the death of their youngest daughter, Terrie, Morris made on going contributions to cancer research, as well as other charities through the years.

He loved spending time with his family; he enjoyed many friends as well as wood carving and traveling with his wife.

A private ceremony and celebration of his life will be held in his honor. The family asks that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice Foundation, 900 Cooper St., Jackson, MI 49202.
