Mary Irene Gilmore

Of Spring Arbor, MI, formerly of Parma, MI went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the age of 94. Irene was the daughter of John Clarence and Mildred Ruth (Johns) Metcalf born March 27, 1924 in Jerome, MI. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Gilmore, and Alvan C. Lange; her parents; two daughters, Karen Belden and Betsy Lange; grandson Rex Belden III. She is survived by her children, Bud (Pat) Lange Jr, Susan (Don) Minick and Mary Howe; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Irene delivered newspapers for Jackson Citizen Patriot for 25 years. She enjoyed gardening and berry picking. Irene enjoyed taking care of her animals and birds. A celebration of her life will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 11:00 am, Reverend Darold L. Hill officiating, interment Roseland Memorial Gardens.
