Martha Mansfield Obituary

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home at the age of 89. Martha was the daughter of Newton and Nellie Conn, born November 13, 1929 in Champaign, IL. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Donald Mansfield: son, Don; daughter, Ellen; 3 grandchildren, Andrew, Scott, and Joshua. Martha was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Mary and Ruth. She was a graduate of the University of Illinois. She taught English to enlistees of the United States Army in Germany. Martha was an elementary school teacher and piano teacher. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Martha enjoyed traveling, sewing. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place at the First Presbyterian Church on a later date.
