Lillie Mae Borden

Of Jackson, MI passed away on November 5, 2019 at the age 50.  She was the daughter of Thomas and Sharon Borden, born January 9, 1969 in Jackson, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Joseph Borden.   Lillie is survived by two brothers and two sisters: Kevin (Sylvia) Borden, Sally (Kenny) Hills, Tom (Romona) Borden, Jr., and Nicole Huff; nieces and nephews, Alysa Huff, Patrick (Brandi) Hills, Ashley Hills, Joseph Borden II, Danielle Borden, and Travis Hills; and several great nieces and nephews. She worked for almost 20 years for the State of Michigan in various positions, most recently as a success coach at Hunt Elementary School. She enjoyed attending concerts and drum shows, and spending time with family and friends. She loved helping and working with the families and students at Hunt Elementary School. A celebration of her life will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army 806 E. Pearl St. Jackson, MI 49201 or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International 26 Broadway, 14th Floor New York, NY. 10004.

The family will receive friends at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 2:00-4:00pm and on Monday from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am.
