LaDonna Jean Mason

Loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. LaDonna was born and raised in Waldron, Michigan, where she met her devoted husband of 67 years, Jack. She retired from Cascades Elementary where she enjoyed working for 20 years. Some of her favorite hobbies included arts and crafts and spending time with her family. Gentle and pure hearted, she always put the needs of others before her own. LaDonna was preceded in death by her father Albert Thompson, step-father Weir Benjamin, mother Fern Benjamin, and son Steven Mason. She is survived by her husband Jack; sister Beverly Hollstein; daughters Marcie Mallak and Becky Mason; grandchildren Jennifer (Kevin) Rzeppa, Jill Mason, Brandon (Cassie) Mallak and Ashley Mallak; special friend Ellen Graves. According to LaDonna’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Celebration will be held at Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 12:00 pm, Pastor Mark Murphy officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm
