Of Spring Arbor, MI passed away at Highland Assisted Living & Memory Care in Jackson, MI on January 7, 2019 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo, her sister, and her step-son Raymond. June is survived by one step daughter, Sandra Skinner of North Carolina; one step-granddaughter, Michelle Fulbright; three step-grandsons, Richard Skinner, Aaron (Libbi), and Jeffrey (Lauren) Dodd; three great step- grandsons, Nathan Fulbright, Jacob Rybicki and Evan Dodd; three great step-granddaughters, Abigail and Hailey Dodd, and Ana Skinner, one step-daughter in-law, Annette (Dennis) Wellman. June retired from Hall and Kennedy Insurance Agency. She was a member of the Concord American Legion Auxiliary and the First Presbyterian Church of Jackson. She was very active in a lot of Boy Scouts and received the Silver Beaver Award for her scouting leadership. She was also known for the many quilts, afghans, and numerous items made for family, friends, and many care homes. She did volunteer work for many organizations. A celebration of her life will held at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 12:00pm, Dr. James D. Hegedus officiating. Interment at Spring Arbor Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Concord Youth Center.
