Departed from family, friends and acquaintances at age forty-seven while residing in Broward County, Florida, on August 16, 2018. He leaves behind his parents, D James and Carol L Dingman of Jackson, Michigan, his daughter, Cydnee N Dingman and Cydnee’s mother, Kelly McCoy, both of Nanticoke, Pennsylvania. Jonathan will be missed by friends in Michigan and Florida, especially close confidant and significant other, Chantel Eckert of Coconut Creek, Florida. Jonathan graduated from Jackson High School in 1989 and started college studies at Jackson Community College before pursuing employment with construction companies in Michigan and Florida. Jon was a unique, one-of-a-kind person who loved adventure, often willing to risk safety for excitement. Choices he made could bring laughter and pleasure for others, or on occasion pain for himself and disappointment to those who loved him. Jon possessed a youthful enthusiasm and deep loyalty that he retained into adulthood. Memories of Jonathan’s life will most certainly capture these treasured moments for all of us whose hearts are saddened by his untimely death. According to Jonathan’s wishes, cremation has taken place, there will be no services at this time. A memorial inurnment will take place in Rockford Cemetery, Rockford, Michigan at a later date.
