Joan Muller

Joan Muller, 83 of Spring Arbor, MI departed this life on Friday, September 20, 2019. She was the daughter of Howard and Kathleen (McMullen) Willis, born March 21, 1936 in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI. Joan is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Robert Muller; daughters, Kathleen (Isaac) Dsanii of Austin, TX, and Jane Ford of Las Vegas, NV; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eleanor (Bill) Rose, Carol (Don) Boyer, and Pat Willis; and brother, John Willis. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother. She was a graduate of the Brighton High School Class of 1954. Following high school she attended Alma College and Eastern Michigan University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in 1972. Joan worked for many years for the Department of Social Services for the State of Michigan. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 306 N. Division St., Ann Arbor, MI on May 16, 2020 at 10:00am with Reverend Alan Gibson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church Organ Fund.
