Janet Kay Bos

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health at the age of 80. Janet was the daughter of Samuel and Helen Leverett born May 20, 1938 in Jackson, Michigan. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Gerald Bos; two sons, Barry (Brenda) Bos and Tim Bos (Bonnie Kennedy); two grandchildren, Tabitha (Shane) Bos and Travis (Amy) Bos; five great-grandchildren, Devyn, Peyton, Maddy, Landon, and Bentley; special friend’s Laurie Rochefort and Marcia Compton; special neighbor Tom. After working for over 20 years, Janet retired from Eaton Corporation. She was Co-Owner of the Jackson Antique Mall for 30 plus years. She loved her family and many friends. Janet looked forward to her yearly Florida trips as well as camping with her sister Barb. She was an avid lover of frogs, light houses and cooking. Janet was loved by many and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 1:00 PM, Michael D. Mason officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Janet may be made to the Dahlem Center, 7117 South Jackson Road, Jackson, MI 49201.

The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM
