She attended Jackson High School and Michigan Agricultural College (MSU) graduating with a degree in vocal music. As a lifelong Jackson resident (with a few great memories from living in Norvell as a young child), Jacque blessed this town for several years with her beautiful voice. She sang with the Jackson Tuesday Musical chorus, League, and with her church choir for over 60 years. She was a member of several groups; P.E.O. chapter BV, Tuesday Musicale, bridge club, and very importantly the Supper Club where she and Lee enjoyed the company of many very good friends.
We will celebrate the life of a lovely woman on Friday, August 16th, 2019 with visitation at 10:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church Jackson, Michigan. Jacque will be remembered for her kindness, positivity, and selflessness, her love of family, a beautiful mezzo voice, and most importantly her faith in the Lord.
Contributions to the First Presbyterian Church, 743 W. Michigan Ave., Jackson, Michigan 49201 for the music program would be appreciated. Mom’s life was an amazing journey and enriched by a beautiful array of music which she dearly loved.
