Helen Marie Rossell

Of Jackson passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Vista Grande Villa Trellis Gardens at the age of 89. Helen was the daughter of Frank and Edith (Corning) Bushaw born March 18, 1930 in Mesick, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Harold who left her on July 29, 2019 after 70 years of marriage; her parents; brother, James Bushaw. Helen is survived by her daughter, Dr. Cheryl (Dr. Ralph) Kluk; son, James (Glenda) Rossell; grandson Dr. Mark Kluk; granddaughter, Stephanie (David) Flack; brother Donald Bushaw. Helen was a graduate of Brethren High School in Brethren, MI. She worked for over 20 years in the dental profession. One of her greatest achievements was bicycling from Jackson to Mackinac Island with her husband, riding around the island and then cycling back to Jackson. They both rode up to 50 miles a day and walked 5 plus miles a day even into their 80 plus years. Helen loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, she loved bicycling, walking and just being together with her husband. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment for both Helen and Harold will take place at a later date in Horton Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Helen may be made to Lumen Christi High School, 3483 Spring Arbor Road, Jackson, MI 49203.
