Gilbert Myers Jr. Obituary

Age 74, of Jackson, Michigan. Gilbert went home to be in the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Gilbert was born August 6, 1943 in Newport News, Virginia. He was the son of Gilbert Myers, Sr. and Margaret Louise Myers. He is survived by his wife, Carol; Uncle Rev. Melvin Campbell; Aunt Gail Williams; niece, Stephanie L. Rosenbrock (Mark); and great nephew, Jacob Alexander Williams. Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Joan L. Rosenbrock. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. Gilbert loved photography, collecting gem stones, and genealogy. He will be remembered for his compassionate heart and smile. According to his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
