Florence Arlene Siefken

Florence Arlene Siefken of Jackson, Michigan passed away peacefully at Arbor Manor Rehabilitation and Care Center on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the age of 92. Florence was the daughter of Arba L. and Clara P. (Clark) Chase, born July 31, 1927 in Spring Arbor, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Marvin in 2008; her great-granddaughter, Robin Siefken and her parents. She is survived by her two sons, Ross (Bev) Siefken and Ray (Kathy) Siefken; 6 grandchildren, Joel (Shannon) Siefken, Sarah ( Jullian) Johnson, Tim Siefken, Rachel Siefken, Darlene (Russ) Rancourt and Arby (Nikita) Siefken; 12 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Joanna Worthint, all the staff at Arbor Manor that made mom's stay very comfortable and loving and her beloved cat, Dolly.

Florence retired from as aerospace manufacturing company in Jackson as an assembler with over 20+ years of service. She was a member of Spring Arbor Church of the Nazarene. Florence liked to lay in the sun at 92, enjoyed going to the mall and walking with her friends, camping with her family and going for long rides with her sons. She was loved by many and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday December 9, 2019 at 11:00am at Spring Arbor Church of the Nazarene, 8200 King Road, Spring Arbor, Michigan 49283, interment will follow in Spring Arbor Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Florence may be made to the family to help with final expenses.

The family will receive friends at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Sunday December 6, 2019 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm and at the church on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
