Ernestine Baldwin Obituary

Of Horton, MI passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the age of 95. She was the daughter of Clyde and Mildred (Myers) Hart, born June 9, 1922 in Horton, MI. Ernestine is survived by her daughter, Beverly Baldwin; brother, Gale Hart; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith R. Baldwin; her parents; brothers, Dale (Lola) Hart; Glen Hart; twin brother Ernest who died at birth; and sister-in-law, Carmella. Ernestine was a graduate of Horton High School. She worked for Gilbert's Chocolate Factory, and then operated Baldwin's Berry Ranch for over 30 years. Ernestine was a member of the Concord Extension Club, and a former member of Michigan Gem and Mineral Society. A Celebration of her life will be held at Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:00am with Chaplain Greg Grotbeck officiating. Interment at Horton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.

The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 5:00-8:00pm and on Saturday from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am.
