Douglas Kay Martin

78, of Parma, MI passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health. Douglas was born September 8, 1939 in Jackson, MI. He is survived by two children, Richard (Eleonor) Martin, and Jennifer (James) Wittkoski; granddaughter, Evie; brother in-law, Gary (Mary) Foster; sister in-law, Cathy Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews. Douglas was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; and father in-law and mother in-law, Richard and Margaret Foster. He retired from Hayes-Albion/ Harvard Industries. Douglas loved to golf and spread his knowledge of golf to others. He won numerous golf tournaments in Jackson County. He also enjoyed attending family functions. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place at Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11:00am; Reverend Dr. James D. Hegedus officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jackson Junior Golf Tour.

The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 15 from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am.
