Diane Fairchild

Of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at her daughter’s home, surrounded by her family at the age of 75. She was the daughter of William and Dorothy Willnow, born March 1, 1943 in Jackson, Michigan. Diane is survived by her husband, Charles, of 57 years of marriage; three children, Tracey Hartman, Troy (Okmi) Fairchild, and Tammey (Joseph) Sorenson; grandchildren, Hillary (Dan) Galarowic, Phillip Hartman, Derrick (Chelsea) Fairchild, Kayla Fairchild, Jaynie Sorenson, and Jenna Sorenson; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Morley, and Rowan Galarowic; sisters, Sharon Craft, and Marilyn Neill; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and dear friends, Jim May, Diana and Gary Fairbanks, and Miriam Gordon. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Don and Jack Willnow; and brother in-laws, Don Neill and Wendell Craft.  Diane was a graduate of East Jackson High School. Early in their marriage Chuck and Diane enjoyed dancing, boating, and snowmobiling.  As the years passed, her family became the only enjoyment she needed. Family gatherings were some of her most favorite time. A celebration of her life will be held at Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 11:00am, Pastor John Tovey officiating. Interment at Roseland Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends at the Watson Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm and on Thursday from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am.
