Dawn Marie Lybarger

Of Onondaga, MI passed away unexpectedly at home on April 2, 2018 at the age of 48. Dawn was the daughter of Walter and Barbara (Otis) Ostrander, born April 16, 1969 in Jackson, MI. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Randy; daughter, Katherine (Stephon) Mills; son, Richard (Danyell) Lybarger; six grandchildren, Ethan, Aiden, JayLynne, Gabriella, Eli, and Taylor; her parents, Walter and Barbara Ostrander; grandmother, Dorothy Otis; brother, Dennis Ostrander; sister, Denise (Dave) Styx; father in-law, Richard (Betty) Lybarger; mother in-law, Theresa (Ed) Hart; brothers and sisters in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dawn was a graduate of Northwest High School and Michigan State University where she received her Master's Degree in Science of Nursing. Dawn worked at many places where she would leave a lasting impression. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Dawn was proud of her nursing achievements and loved to help people especially by sharing her knowledge of nursing through her teaching efforts at Jackson College and Henry Ford Allegiance Health. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her life will be held at Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 12:00pm. Pastor Melissa Claxton officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Dawn may be made to a charity of one's choice.

The family will receive friends at the Watson Funeral Chapel on April 11, 2018 from 11:00am until the time of service.
