Charles Bernard Lightcap

Was delivered on earth November 19, 1938 to Carl B and Edna (Frazee) Lightcap, and received in Heaven October 2, 2018.  As Chuck rests peacefully now in Heaven, his family will remember and miss him. He leaves behind his wife, Norma (Glisson) Henry Lightcap, daughters, Kris (Kae) Capman, and Patricia Davis; four loving step children, David (Carol M) Henry, Judy (Ray) Johnson, Douglas (Carol L) Henry, and John (Diana) Henry; twelve grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leroy Lightcap and Carl Lightcap; one sister, Azenitha Leonard.  Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, an uncle, and granddaughter, Jennifer Lee.  Chuck was a respected Chef in Jackson as well as in several restaurants in southern Michigan.  He was a supportive attender of Cornerstone Christian Church in Jackson, where he generously prepared and served dinners for many functions. He was a faithful servant of the Lord with a passion to help others. A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Pastors Vaughn Jensen, David Henry and Michael D. Mason officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions in memory of Chuck can be made to Cornerstone Christian Church, 2395 W. High Street, Jackson, Michigan 49203.
