Arthur Okarski Obituary

Arthur Okarski, 84, passed away March 5, 2019. Art was the son of Frank J, and Maria (Frania) Okarski, born on July 30, 1934 in Detroit. Michigan. He married Patricia Hobin on May 25, 1963 and together they raised 4 children. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Patricia, and their 4 children: Art (Cindy), Robert (Jill), Susan (Paul) and Kathleen and 8 beautiful grandchildren: Rachel, Kayla, Dahlen, Jacob, Chace, Kyler, Christopher and Jonathon. Art was preceded in death by his parents and his sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Leonard Plec. Art graduated high school from De La Salle with honors. He received a bachelor’s degree from University of Detroit and worked as a mechanical engineer for 33 years at Vickers. There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday March 23, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the home of Art and Cindy Okarski.
