Andrew “Drew” Michael Williams, of Jackson, MI, formerly of Parma, MI went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health at the age of 29. Drew was the son of Dale A. and Colette B. (Ellis) Williams born May 31, 1990 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is survived by his parents; brother, Nathan (Lisa) Williams and their children; grandmother, Judith Williams; fiancée, Nicole Hulbert and their daughter, Aleah and expected child due in August.
Drew was a graduate of Western High School. He played in both the marching and jazz bands, and sang with the Select Choir. He attended Spring Arbor University. Drew worked at Jackson Coffee Company and IronBark Brewery. He was one of the founding members of the band The Orbiters, where he played bass guitar and sang. He adored spending time with Nicole and their daughter Aleah. Drew enjoyed both acoustic and bass guitar playing, writing music, the outdoors and going to music festivals.
A celebration of Drew’s life will be held at Ganson Street Baptist Church, 637 W. Ganson Street, Jackson, MI 49201 on Monday, January 6, 2020 at 11:00 am, Reverend Allen Grover and Reverend Kurt Ellis officiating. Memorial contributions for those who wish may be made to the family for the children’s education fund. The family will receive friends at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Sunday, January 5, 2020 from 1:00pm – 5:00pm and Monday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service.
