Of Jackson, MI went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 15, 2024 at the age of 60. He is the son of Charles and Constance Miller, born June 5, 1963 in Lansing, MI. Greg is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Dominique Miller; sons, Ethan Miller, Brendan (Angela) Miller, and William ‘Liam’ Miller; granddaughter, Aurelia Miller; his mother, Constance Miller; siblings, Lisbeth (Tim) Grove, Marc Miller, and David (Cheryl) Miller. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Miller; and sister, Julee McGee. Greg graduated from Parkside High School in 1981. After high school, he served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1981-1985 serving in Germany and Belgium and then was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Liberty (Bragg). Following his service, he attended Michigan State University where he received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree. He worked as a therapist for Therapy Today and he served as a Reserve Police Officer for the City of Jackson Police Department for 10 years. He was a lover of history that began as a young child. Greg loved to read historical novels and visited many battle fields throughout his life time. He had an amazing memory for detail and had a joy for life and a good political discussion. Greg was an avid MSU, Detroit Red Wings and Lions fan. He was a member of the VFW in Haslett and a member of the Men’s Club at Queen’s Parish. He had a quick wit, big heart, and was a great story teller. Greg loved to spend time with his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held for Mr. Miller at the Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church, 1111 Carlton Blvd., Jackson, MI on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 1:30pm with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating. A committal service will be held at a future date at St. John Catholic Cemetery with Military Honors.
The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30pm until the time of mass.
